Asalto

Asalto is a late development in the Fox and Geese family of games, and an example of the military emphasis of board games in the eighteenth century, replacing earlier more rural themes.

Two army officers are matched against a troop of twenty-four soldiers. The officers defend their fortress while the soldiers attempt to invade and occupy it.
