This original strategy game plays out a battle between Northumbrian warriors aiming to expand their kingdom northwards into Pictland in the seventh century. The Picts, however, are more than ready to defend their land, and meet up with their enemy in a boggy valley.
Leather board and wooden gaming pieces. A game for two players.

- Anglian and Pictish warriors face each other, separated by a treacherous bog
- The opposing warriors battle it out back and forth to the death
- Men can move with relative ease on dry land, but their advance is impeded by boggy ground
- Capture of enemies requires two men in the tricky conditions of the bog
- Beware your enemy particularly at the margins of the bog, where the opposing warriors' abilities to move and capture change suddenly!
