This deck is similar to examples dating from the mid 1600s to the nineteenth century, and is based on an English deck dating from c. 1750. The cards are not coated or laminated, and the backs are blank, as was common on most early decks, making them ideal for reenactment. Though not in use until the nineteenth century, jokers are included for games that require them. Card dimensions 89 x 57mm (3 1/2" x 2 1/4").
